Maybe it was the hype-machine, but I left Finding Nemo a bit unfulfilled. The scenery and animation are amazing, and combine well with the voice acting. But. Something about the story or the sub-adventures were just a little too childish for me - too linear, and too predictable. A rewatching of Shrek a year on hasn't lost its appeal to me, and I'm left wondering if there just wasn't enough there to grasp with Finding Nemo from an adult viewpoint. I'm not saying don't watch it; it's worth watching for the water-bound graphics and acting alone, but don't go into it expecting a Shrek or Ice Age.
