Summer has arrived (hopefully temporarily) with 34+ degrees (Celcius) pretty much the whole weekend. Thankfully, that's in the city, not on the flats. But if I weren't off caffeine, it'd've probably been deadly, especially with my electricity being worked upon on Sunday (meaning no opening of fridge). To the point that when we ran out of things to do at the cool shopping mall, I directed Jeremy to drive towards Cape Point so as to make use of the air conditioner in the car. Sub-30s the rest of the week, thankfully. Update: According to this article on one of my work's sites, the city bowl is 40+ degrees today. If my two-minute stint in it to fetch lunch is any indication, it's way past that already.
Time to take a few days off work and head to the beach!
