Almost four weeks this time. So, what have I been doing? Games (KOTOR, KOTOR II, City of Heroes), reading (Exile's Return, Feersum Endjinn), vegging out at home, working on kick-ass KnowledgeTree stuff at work, LPA meetings a few metres above an active nuclear reactor, working on other kick-ass KnowledgeTree stuff at work and at home, and that's about it.
Not that there's plenty of excitement about with Zuma being let go, an interesting DP being added, and Zuma about to be charged in local politics, and some dodgy stuff in Zimbabwe.
And a large bun-fight over Uniforum instituting PTR checks in nameservers in new domain registrations, a vulnerability, a fix, and a few careless words.
And a June 16th Youth Day SLUG event, where I helped one of ten schools set up their Tuxlabs.
And that's about it. Did I mention some seriously kick-ass KnowledgeTree stuff? Oh, yeah. Then that's it.
Feersum Endjinn. High up on my list of favourite novels.
I'm still reading it, and enjoying it massively. But it's tough going in Bascule's phonetic spelling; sometimes I wish to do evil things to Iain Banks...
I find you get used to his speech after awhile. I've read through _Feersum Endjinn_ three times now, and it's always a battle at the start!
