Despite suffering a bit with bandwidth, the computer lab is now up and running with SSH access, meaning we can actually get some stuff done. Feeling a bit disadvantaged without a laptop (and digital camera), as there's now wireless connectivity too. Yesterday afternoon I led the Python session, which seemed to go well enough. This morning, there was a lively session on gender issues - my feminist strain took control for a bit though. Before lunch, I attended the NGO/Civil Society session, where we tried to understand how they could leverage open source and interested open source developers, and the arguments they will understand about why they should be using them, and understanding their context and how to get open source to them. (Sorry about the one-big-paragraph...)
