Enjoying
- Reading:
- Network Effect (The Murderbot Diaries #5) by Martha Wells (★★★★★)
- Fugitive Telemetry (The Murderbot Diaries #6) by Martha Wells
- Watching:
- 🎥🏠🔄 The Perks Of Being A Wallflower (★★★★☆)
- 📺🏃Sort Of season 1 (★★★★☆)
- I feel surprised I hadn’t heard of this before, and glad I happened across it. Fresh and messy.
- 📺🐌The Wheel Of Time season 3 (★★★☆☆)
- Even though it’s quite a bit better than previous seasons (leading to fairly high ratings), I think they bit off more than they could chew with this approach to the adaptation.
- 📺🏃🔄 Rizzoli and Isles season 1
- Comfort first series rewatch
- 📺📅 The Rookie season 7

Newly discovered
Hyperwood
Hyperwood is an interesting project idea - an attempt to make an ecosystem around laminated dimensional boards (slats) to reduce the effort and tools involved in building certain projects.

This microscope spins - and the shots are insane - Steve Mould
Things that you aren’t usually able to see is one of my favourite genres, and this video delivers that…
Can Supersonic Heating Cook Steak? - BPS.space
Joe Barnard’s exploits building his space shot are always entertaining (if occasionally a bit cringe).
Japanese Joinery is easier than you think… - Studio No Ha
There’s definitely a “no true woodworker” thing that goes on in more amateur woodworking around hand tools and complex joinery (and Japanese woodworking in particular), but that’s not to say that they aren’t quite fascinating…
