Summary

Got my texture synthesis proof of concept working end-to-end, from an original 3D model, creating views and sending that off to Stable Diffusion (using ComfyUI workflows), and then synthesizing those views into a texture for that 3D model.

Lots of banging my head against the tiniest details, and a bit more to go until there are no artifacts related to the projection math (the seams are especially visible, but there are also issues related to the background).

There is a major decision or two needed soon around how it is going to be used. I could make it a ComfyUI plugin entirely, where you upload a model and it spits out a texture, or I could make it more useful for interactive use - allowing you to choose your own camera views to focus in on details that may not be covered by what you’ve captured already.

Definitely feeling a bit tired of the project - will take a break from it for a bit, as well as try find a good game that I feel like playing.
